CRANS-MONTANA CHAMPS OPEN BY RIP CURL AND SMITH AS PARTNER WORLD BEST SNOWBOARD AND FREESKI SUPERSTARS READY TO ROCK CRANS-MONTANA

From the 4th to the 8th of February 2009, the ski resort of Crans-Montana will welcome the world’s hottest snowboarders and freeskiers. For the very first time spectators can experience both sports back to back, thanks to a new innovative 5 days schedule. On the program for 2009 we have the Swatch TTR World snowboard Tour with a 5 star slopestyle and the highest level of freeskiing on the planet.
The hottest an best Smith riders will be there. Gian Simmen and Steve Krijbolder are invited riders.
Champs Open is famous for it’s mythic slopestyle course over 650m and it is mythic.
Drop in and get stocked (different types of jumps are possible): first 25m Straight Jump than the Swatch Spine followed by the Superpipe with Transfer Entry Jumps at the and you will have a 6m high Quarter Pipe. A prize money of 20'000 U$ will be up for grabs so full action is guaranteed.
Although at the bottom will be the Smith tent there you can watch the new hot 2010 stuff and Gian and Steve and the other riders will be around for signatures and interviews.
